Christine Canigula is a character in Be More Chill. She is Jeremy Heere's love interest and a student at Middleborough High School.
Character Description
Christine is sweet, sensitive, smart and a little nerdy. She’s a theatre kid and cares deeply about it; the kind of girl who knows she'll thrive in college. She doesn't engage with the social hierarchy of high school but can't resist being tempted when the coolest guy in school (Jake) starts pursuing her; attractive and appealing but not in an obvious way. About
Christine's passion is theatre and play rehearsal makes her happier than anything else. Her stated reasons for this are because life is easier when you're following a script and it's the only time she gets to be the center of attention. Despite this, she has many interests that she wants to pursue and cannot imagine only doing one thing for the rest of her life. Jeremy has a crush on Christine and spends a large portion of the musical attempting to win her heart. She is one of the reasons Jeremy got a Squip.

- In the musical, Christine's last name was changed from Caniglia to Canigula. Joe Tracz has confirmed this happened because he often read Caniglia as Canigula.
- In the original 2015 production, her squip is Hillary Clinton. In the Off-Broadway revival, her squip is Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In the West End revival, her SQUIP is Greta Thunberg.
- She has Attention Deficit Disorder, also known as ADD.
